Flag Football - Co-Ed K - 2nd

Simsbury Youth Flag Football is excited to be back for a 4th season. We are once again officially part of the the NFL flag football league.

This program is open to Boys and Girls entering Kindergarten - 2nd grade in the fall of 2026.

During the month of August, SYFCL will hold pre-season practices/assessments to help determine teams placements. Dates and times TBD.

Each team will need at least 2 parent volunteers as coaches.

Schedule

Flag Football meets once a week on Saturday mornings in September and October. There is a team warm-up followed by a game.

Exact dates and times will be communicated in August.

Games are played at Weatogue Park

Registration Fees

2026 Registration fee is $175

Early Bird Pricing $150 through 5/25/26

What is included?

We are part of the NFL flag league so each player will get their own NFL flag jersey and flags to keep.

Parents will need to purchase a mouth guard for their player.

Cleats are recommended but not required.

SYFCL Refund Policy

ALL Registration Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE

Exceptions to this policy may be requested to the President, in special circumstances such as injury or relocation.

Choosing not to play, losing interest in the sport, expulsion due to a violation of our code of conduct policy or moving to another local program do not, in the view of Simsbury Youth Football & Cheer League (SYFCL) , qualify for a refund.

If a refund is approved, it would be less any fees and expenses incurred by SYFCL - including, but not limited to - financial processing fees, uniform and equipment already ordered.
