About us

Purpose: Simsbury Youth Football and Cheer league (SYFCL) is a 501 (c) non-profit youth football & cheer organization whose objective is to lead and build a unified, fun, safe and competitive football and cheer experience for the Simsbury Youth. 

The program is governed by a board of Simsbury volunteers committed to bringing the very best competitive experience to our children.  An experience that teaches and pursues the principles of excellence, commitment, the value of teamwork and personal character on and off the playing fields.

Mission: Simsbury Youth Football and Cheer will provide a safe and competitive athletic football and cheer environment to represent the town of Simsbury.

The SYFCL leadership and coaching staff are a driven community. We are capable of providing a level of leadership and coaching that is second to none in the greater Simsbury area. Our coaches have extensive experience at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels.  As a result, we understand how to lead and teach the game, so our players are capable of competitive play, while preparing them to play at the next level.
